We get a mention!! ELT Blog Carnival – Teaching and Learning with Video

Hi folks

Just wanted to share this with you.

I'm always keen to use engaging content in my lessons and over the last couple of years we've had our friends rapping, reciting poetry and even singing amongst other things. There's often much laughter as our learners have fun and this is the magic that they and we share. We pride ourselves with the way that our friends have the opportunity to engage in learning, make friends and feel part of something positive. These activities go above and beyond the primary objective of acquisition of the English language when considering the plight of our learners who are often isolated socially.

I'm very happy/humbled indeed to have had one of my lessons from my blog chosen as a good example.

The blogosphere is EXPLODING with cool ideas for using videos to teach English and here you’ll find links to some of the very best – .
